99 Restaurants "Have a Heart" Fundraiser

Since 1981, 99 Restaurants have partnered with Pine Street Inn to raise funds, provide meals to shelter guests and offer employment and training to our iCater food service trainees.

Once again, the 99s are supporting Pine Street with their “Have a Heart” fundraiser. Visit any of their 46 participating locations in Massachusetts or New Hampshire from February 5-11, and support Pine Street. Enjoy a delicious meal and donate $5 to Pine Street, and you will receive $5 off a $25 coupon (in-person) or $5 off online orders. Every dollar donated helps end homelessness.

Joe Gatto of From Scratch
Joins the Visiting Chef Series

Pine Street’s iCater job training program provides culinary training to trainees seeking employment in food services. As part of this training, culinary professionals guest lecture for our Visiting Chef series.

Recently, Chef Joe Gatto of From Scratch, joined our chefs-in-training to teach them the fine art of making savory crepes. “When you’re cooking from scratch, it’s more than just the ingredients — it’s you, you’re passing something down. That’s the definition of food to me,” says Chef Joe. “It gives you an advantage in the kitchen because you know what goes into everything.” This professional guidance inspires our trainees as they deepen their culinary understanding.

Join Us for Winter Walk

Join us for the 8th annual Winter Walk. This year’s two-mile Walk takes place on Sunday, February 11, starting at 8:30 a.m. on the Boston Common. Join #TeamPineStreet and walk with us to raise awareness and funds for Pine Street Inn and other Boston organizations working to end homelessness.
