Graduation 2024

Congratulations Class of 2024!

On June 14, Pine Street Inn celebrated 75 graduates of our Workforce Development programs in food services and housekeeping.

Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey, our keynote speaker, told the graduates, "You invested your time and energy in learning skills that will take you to the next stage in your journey. All your hard work has paid off. And there is nowhere I would rather be right now, than here with all of you."

Trainee speaker Taji W. inspired the audience with his remarks. "Pine Street was the best thing that could have happened to me. Now, I have my own apartment and a job as a mail carrier with the United States Postal Service. With a home and a job, I’m excited for what my future holds."

Pride at Pine Street

Pride at Pine Street

On June 8, Pine Street staff marched in the Boston Pride for the People parade to kick off Pride Month. It was all smiles from our Pine Street participants, who passed out beaded necklaces and bracelets throughout the march. We were thrilled to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and allies with close to one million parade attendees.
