Lyndia Downie Discusses the Federal Eviction Moratorium

Pine Street Inn President & Executive Director Lyndia Downie spoke about the federal eviction moratorium and its impact with Jim Braude and Margery Eagan on GBH's Boston Public Radio. 

"We know when people get evicted, not every person walks to the doors of Pine Street Inn," she said. "People will double up, they'll go to friends and family. But eventually, we do know that 15-20% of those folks end up in shelters."

Mayoral Forum on Homelessness

Pine Street Inn and the Boston Coalition for Homeless Individuals recently hosted a virtual forum with the five candidates for Boston mayor, focused on homelessness and housing. 

Moderated by Marcela Garcia, opinion writer for The Boston Globe, guests and clients from several organizations asked questions of the candidates on issues impacting their lives.
