Louise — Finding Her Way Through Difficult Times

Louise, once a business owner, became homeless following a series of tragedies, including the deaths of her husband and mother. “When my mother got sick, I moved in to become her fulltime caregiver. After she passed away, I didn’t have a job or the money to afford my own apartment, and I ended up becoming homeless. That’s when I turned to Pine Street Inn for help.” Louise says. Now in permanent housing at one of Pine Street Inn’s residences, she feels hopeful for the future.

Home Remedy 2023

Join us for Home Remedy

Home Remedy: A Breakfast to Benefit Pine Street Inn is back in-person on April 27! This year’s featured speaker is New England Patriots’ linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley, who will share his first-hand perspective on homelessness, along with Patriots’ radio announcer Bob Socci, and our emcee, GBH’s Callie Crossley.

The breakfast brings together Greater Boston’s corporate and philanthropic leaders. Thank you to our Presenting Sponsor, Bancel Philanthropies, and Silver Sponsor, Natixis Investment Managers. Funds raised will assist over 2,000 individuals daily, who turn to Pine Street for help in rebuilding their lives.
