Help Me Warm Up The Holidays!
Let's Warm Up The Holidays for Some of Boston's Most Vulnerable Neighbors!
As you may know, I am a member of Pine Street Inn's Inbassadors, a group of young professionals dedicated to the mission of ending homelessness in Boston.
I've volunteered at Pine Street for several years, and joined the Inbassadors to be more involved in the advocacy and fundraising for a cause that means so much to me.
The Gift of Warmth
The Innbassadors are once again teaming up this year to raise money to provide holiday gifts for every person staying in Pine Street's shelters or using their outreach services.
Just $20 provides a practical gift -- a sweatshirt or scarf, hat and gloves -- for a woman or man in need.
Chances are, these will be the only gifts these men and women receive this year. Not only will the gifts provide physical warmth during the brutal winter season, but they will surely warm the hearts of these deserving recipients!
A Critical Need
This year, the need is greater than ever. With recent budget cuts at the shelter, the Innbassadors must raise every cent of the $25,000 it takes to cover the cost of these winter clothing essentials.
Will You Help?
My ask is simple: please join me and the other Innbassadors in bringing warmth and joy during the coldest days of the year. Your donation of $20, $40, $100 or more -- whatever you are able to give -- will meet a critical need for the most vulnerable members of our community.
On behalf of those you help with your generosity, I thank you. Happy Holidays!
